Description

It monitors Cisco QoS ClassMap Statistics like Pre Policy Bitrate per second, Traffic sent after QoS processing, Dropped Packets count and Traffic dropped as a result of QoS processing.

Prerequisites

SNMP should be enabled in end device and device should support CISCO-CLASS-BASED-QOS-MIB and SNMP credentials should be attached against the device in portal.

How to Apply: This template will ask user for 2 input parameters while assigning it to a device —

  1. QoS Class name

Default value: ALL → i.e. check above metrics for all QoS classes
Input Format: ClassName1,ClassName2,ClassName3

Sample input1: class-default,COS1,COS2,COS3 → i.e. check above metrics for listed QoS classes
Sample input2: ICICI_class_AF1,ICICI_class_EF,class-default → i.e. check above metrics for listed QoS classes
Sample input3: class-default → i.e. check above metrics for QoS class-default
Sample input4: ALL → i.e. check above metrics for all QoS classes

  1. OID Counter type

Possible values:

  1. 32bit → It will use 32 bit counter OIDs to evaluate above metric results
  2. 64bit → It will use 64 bit counter OIDs to evaluate above metric results

Frequency
  • Frequency is the interval in which you want to probe and collect metric data from the target device/resource
  • Frequency is defined in minutes (min).
  • Warning ThresholdIf the metric value satisfies the condition defined along with Warning Threshold value, then a notification is sent to the user.
    Critical ThresholdIf the metric value satisfies the condition defined along with Critical Threshold value, then a notification is sent to the user.
    AlertThe alert value can be set to either Yes or No. If it is Yes, then an alert message is sent to the user.
