Introduction
Before installing a gateway for Windows, review the system requirements and specifications.
Important
While running a system patch, do not update PostgreSQL without notifying OpsRamp. This is because the Windows Gateway uses the application.Considerations
- If Windows Gateway is configured to receive Syslog messages, verify that access to
514
port is allowed. - PostgreSQL Database: Gateway installation uses PostgreSQL Database. If you have the application already installed, then provide the database root credentials while registering Gateway.
