OpsRamp provides twelve types of synthetic monitors to handle your synthetics. You can configure synthetic monitors from one or more locations.

Public locations

OpsRamp lets you verify the availability of a web service monitor from a configured location over the internet. You can select the following locations across the world while adding a web service monitor in the application:

Private locations

OpsRamp allows monitoring of the internet and intranet from your infrastructure via OpsRamp Gateway version VG 5.0.0 after enabling Web Service Agent. You can toggle Web Service Agent from OFF to ON state from Setup > Resources > Managememt Profiles > View Management Profile
