Introduction
CyberArk is a password vault tool. The integration with CyberArk retrieves passwords or credentials to implement discovery and launch remote consoles.
OpsRamp configuration
Configuration involves:
- Configuring the integration.
- Configuring credentials.
Step 1: Configure the integration
To integrate:
- From All Clients, select a client.
- Go to Setup > Integrations > Integrations.
- From Available Integrations, select Password Management > CyberArk and click Install.
- Click Add to create the credential mapping and provide the following:
- Name: Specify the password vault.
- Type: Select from the drop-down menu.
- Properties: Provide Address, AppID, PolicyID, Safe, and username.
- Click Save.
Step 2: Create a credential
To create CyberArk credentials:
- Go to Accounts > Clients and select the client for CyberArk credential assignment.
- From the Credentials tab, click Add, and provide the following information:
- Name
- Description
- Type: Select
SSH
from the drop-down menu.- Authentication type: Provide either
Password
orKey Pair
. Key Pair - Username
- Use Password Vault
- Integration: Pre-populated with
CyberArk
. - Policy Mapping: Pre-populated with your configured integration name.
- Port:
- Authentication type: Provide either
- Connection Time out (ms):
- Click Next to assign resources.
- Click Save.
