Deploying Agents using Gateways

Introduction

Agents are deployed to connect to the OpsRamp Cloud using an HTTP Proxy.

Deploying agents

To deploy an agent to connect through a gateway.

Select a client and go to Setup.
From the left pane, click Downloads > Agent.
From the AGENT page, select the client and gateway from the drop-down list.
Click Agent.

Note

The Gateway profile appears in the drop-down menu only if the selected client is configured with the gateway. To connect using an agent, the gateway should have a static IP address.
