View a process definition

Click Automation > Process Definition to view the list of saved process definitions. Use the drop-down menu to select the process definitions to display:

  • All Process Definitions
  • Running Process Instances
  • Recently Completed Process Instances

You can also select the number of process definitions to display per page.

Each process definition entry contains the following information:

Created ByName of the user who created the process definition.

Last Updated ByName of the user who last modified the process definition.
Last Updated TimeTime the process definition was last modified.
EnabledProcess definition enablement state:
  • **ON** = process enabled
  • **OFF** = process disabled
DeployProcess deployment button:
  • highlighted = process is not deployed, click to deploy
  • grayed-out = process is deployed
Deployment TimeTime process was last deployed.

Edit a process definition

  1. In the Process Definition view, click the Process Name of the process definition you want to change.
  2. On the workflow canvas, make the process changes you want.
  3. Click Save to save your changes. Click Close to exit without saving changes.

After changing the process definition, you need to redeploy the process to run automation.

Copy a process definition

  1. In the Process Definition view, select the process you want to copy.

  2. Click the copy icon.

    The dialog displays a copy of the selected process on the workflow canvas and provides a default name. You can change the name if you want to.

  3. Continue editing the process definition, using the copied definition as a starting point. Click save to save the copy as a new process definition.

Delete a process definition

  1. In the Process Definition view, select the process you want to delete.
  2. Click the delete icon.
  3. At the prompt, click Yes to confirm and delete the process definition. Click No to continue without deleting the definition.
